DetailWorks Mobile is a mobile car detailing service operating in North and West Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what information we collect when you call us, text us, fill in the quote form on this website, or submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, what we do with it, and how you can have it removed.
Who we are
DetailWorks Mobile ("we", "us", "our") provides interior and exterior car detailing at our customers' homes and workplaces. You can reach us at 778-855-4475.
What we collect
This website has no accounts. We collect information when you fill in the quote form on this website, when you reach out to us directly by phone or text, or when you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram. That may include:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address, if you provide one
- Your address or general location, so we know where to bring the service
- Details about your vehicle and the service you are asking about
We do not collect payment card details through this website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
Lead forms on Facebook and Instagram
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. Those ads may include a lead form that you fill in without leaving the app. If you submit one, Meta passes us the contact details you entered, which is normally your name, phone number and email address.
When you submit one of our forms, you are asking us to get in touch. We will use the phone number and email you gave us to contact you about your enquiry, including by call, text message and email.
Meta collects and handles that information under its own terms before passing it to us. Their policy is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a price
- To book, confirm and carry out your appointment
- To contact you about your booking, including reminders and changes
- To follow up afterwards about the work we did
- To let you know about our services and offers, where you have agreed to hear from us

Calls, texts and emails
By giving us your phone number you agree that we may call and text you about your enquiry and booking. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can stop marketing messages at any time by replying STOP to any text, or by telling us on the phone. We will still contact you about a booking you have already made.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only where we have to in order to run the business:
- With service providers who operate our website, phone, messaging and scheduling tools, and only so they can provide those services to us
- Where the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our record keeping obligations, and no longer than is reasonable for those purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Stop contacting you for marketing

This website
This site has one quote form. When you submit it, your answers are sent to our form provider (Formspree) and delivered to us by email so we can reply. Our host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, for security and reliability.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform. These tools record page visits and, when you submit the quote form, send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, phone number, name and area, along with your IP address, browser type and Meta cookie IDs. Meta uses this to match the visit to an ad and does not receive your details in readable form from us. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings, or at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top.
